Sunday Lunch Club

Every 3rd Sunday in every month we provide a traditional lunch in the Day Centre. At present about forty people attend. This is intended for people living on their own, who at one time enjoyed family Sunday lunch. We have occasional couples, but mainly those who attend are single.

The cost is currently £3.00 and is non-profit making, but this might go up if costs rise.

There are three cooking teams of people from our church on a rota. They roast pork, beef, lamb or turkey and provide a sweet course as well.

This is our church outreach, and there is no pressure on anyone to attend church. Sunday Lunch club has been running since January 2000.

For more information, contact Jenny Holroyd on Tel: 01342 833776.
