The PCC is an elected committee responsible with the vicar, for the running of the church. It is chaired by the vicar.
The churchwardens, clergy and members of the Deanery Synod are ex officio members. Others are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting and must be on the Church Electoral Roll.
The Council meets every two months and discusses a wide range of topics – mission, evangelism, worship, finance, buildings, events etc. At each meeting there are verbal reports from the Treasurer, Churchwardens and the Friends of St Peters and St Pauls.
Whilst members of the PCC are elected for one year, it is our normal practice for members to stand down after serving for three years.
If you would like to know more about St Peter & St Paul’s PCC and what it does, please contact the Vice Chairman, Mary Pyner (Churchwarden) Tel: 01342 835422, or email the office via our Contact form.
